Job Description
Candidates with expertise in the following areas: sustainable technologies and science including atmospheric science and pollution control, carbon technologies and management, renewable energy and energy storage, chemical analysis and environmental monitoring, remote sensing technology, solid waste technologies and management, crossdiscipline with the following areas including AI and environmental big data in the disipline as mentioned above, environment pillar in ESG, and sustainable city etc.
Job Requirement
Candidates should have a PhD degree issued by world renowned university in a related discipline. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in research and teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ability to undertake independent and cost-effective research leading to outcomes with a strong impact, such as publication in high quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and scholarly presses. In addition, candidates should be skilled in communicating effectively with international scholars, as well as with local Chinese government agencies about grant applications and establishing research centers approved by Chinese government. They should deliver high-quality research results and impacts by working collaborating with current BNBU faculty members. Moreover, they should support the university in strengthening its domestic and international partnerships. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.
Benefits and Appointment Terms
Commencing salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave, social insurance and commercial insurance. Appointments to these positions will initially be made on a fixed-term contract with mutual agreement.
