Beijing Normal–Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) was established in 2005 as a pioneering collaboration in higher education between mainland China and Hong Kong. Located in Zhuhai within the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, BNBU is the first model liberal arts university in mainland China. With English as the medium of instruction, BNBU maintains academic standards aligned with international practices and has developed a comprehensive education and training system encompassing undergraduate, postgraduate, and postdoctoral programmes. The University is included in the Guangdong Provincial High-level University Development Plan and has established an Institute for Advanced Study led by academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Currently, two programmes (Statistics, Computer Science and Technology) have been designated as national first-class undergraduate programmes. Four disciplines (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Technology, and Communication) have been selected as key disciplines under the Guangdong Provincial High-level University Development initiative, and nine courses have been recognised as Guangdong Provincial first-class undergraduate courses. Building upon its key disciplines, BNBU successfully established postdoctoral programmes in Mathematics and Statistics in 2023, marking the first time that a Chinese-foreign cooperative university has been approved to establish postdoctoral programmes in China. The University has also established the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Research and Application for Data Science. With Mathematics and Statistics serving as the core supporting disciplines of the laboratory, it provides an important research platform for postdoctoral fellows to conduct high-level academic research. Qualification Requirements：
1) A doctoral degree obtained within the past three years, or a PhD candidate who has successfully passed the doctoral defense;
2) Under the age of 35;
3) Demonstrate strong research capabilities and innovative potential, along with a genuine passion for academic research;
4) Be proactive and responsible, with high standards of academic integrity and strong team spirit;
5) Proficiency in English is required;
6) Work full-time in the University;
7) The applicant’s proposed research plan should align with the research areas of the intended supervisor.

1) Salary and Benefits: A comprehensive annual salary package of 300,000 CNY to 600,000 CNY(including allowances from governments at all levels). The supervisor may provide additional funding based on the postdoctoral fellow’s research capabilities and performance.
